Bryon Cunningham, Psy.D., Ph.D.

I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the psychology department at Occidental College and a Psychological Associate at Rose City Center in Pasadena.

As reflected in this website, my research interests include topics in evolutionary psychology, evolutionary psychopathology, and the clinical science of depression. My research interests also include metascientific issues common to the biological, cognitive, and cultural sciences, such as the nature of scientific explanation, the role of mechanisms in scientific investigation, and the merits and limits of interlevel reductionism.
